About the CERtification Program

Audio, understood from the inside out.

Understanding audio isn't just about learning tools — it's about understanding how sound works, how systems are built, and how real-world decisions affect what we hear. The Core Audio Certification Program provides a structured, hands-on foundation for anyone who wants to work confidently with sound, whether in music, post-production, or related audio fields.

Across four interconnected courses, the program guides learners from industry context and workflow, through the physics of sound and human perception, into the technical systems that carry audio, and finally into the creative decisions that shape recorded sound.

Taught by Andrew Scheps, the program reflects how audio professionals actually think and work — connecting theory and practice so learners understand not just what to do, but why it works.
